  1. This proposal goes way too far: banning carriage horses so that human beings can be employed to pull rickshas around Central Park! Furthermore, it’s a sad commentary on politicians that anyone would recommend the elimination of one of the noblest traditions in NYC. Someone needs to start a petition (MoveOn?) to keep the horses.
