Entry Fee: $ 8.00 Per Class
Office Fee: $10.00 Per Horse

Stalling is available on the show grounds. $15.00/day with $5.00 refunded, if stall is cleaned. Bring your own feed, bedding, water bucket and apple picker. Exhibitors who tie to their trailers are expected to clean their area.

Camper spaces are available. $15/day-no services, $20/day-with water or electrical hookup, $25/day-with both water and electrical hookups. Exhibitors are to make reservations with Boulder County Fairgrounds. 303-678-1525.

Rules

Colorado and Boulder County 4-H Rules to apply, except as specified. All 4-H exhibitors must be enrolled as 4-H horse project members. All 4-H exhibitors must use their project horse(s)
Open classes: AQHA, APHA and USEF rulebooks to apply and are open to all exhibitors. 4-H Safety Rules and Sportsmanship Code will be enforced by show management. Any violation of these rules will be cause for elimination and forfiture of winnings and entry fees.

Junior member 8 – 10 years of age (as of 1-1-14)
Intermediate member 11 – 13 years of age (as of 1-1-14)
Senior member 14 –18 years of age (as of 1-1-14)
Open ages as of 1-1-2014

Members are to show at the level of the advancement card held. Classes with four or less registrants may be combined or canceled.

No stallions may be shown, except in open classes, by adults.

Unruly or dangerous horses will be excused from the arena.

English Classes: Whips (saddle seat or dressage seat), crops (hunt seat), and unroweled spurs are legal and optional.

Legal bits are required in all classes. See current 4-H rule book for 4-H classes. AQHA, APHA or USEF rulebook(s) for open classes.

Western horses age five and under may be shown in a bosal or smooth snaffle bit. Riders must use two hands, if showing in a bosal or smooth snaffle bit.

Prohibited: Martingales, tiedowns, mechanical hackamores.

Leg wraps, splint boots, etc. allowed only in reining classes.

Riders in the walk/trot/jog/therapeutic classes may not cross enter into any class which canters/lopes at this show, but may enter showmanship classes. Side walkers allowed. Riders must be 8 years of age or older.

Ranch Horse Level I: Riders must have passed Level I Ranch Horse Advancement Level test to enter the Ranch Horse Level I, class #36.

Ranch Horse Levels II, III & IV: Riders must have passed Level II, III or IV Ranch Horse Advancement Level test to enter class #35 Ranch Horse Level II & Above. See current 4-H rulebook for patterns which may be used.
