Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night!

Another year is almost come and gone and with it one more where I find myself thinking about how blessed I am. My lovely horse, Nico gives me so much joy (though I wonder sometimes if the feeling is mutual), my zany friends both horsey and not, and simply the joy of living in Colorado. As I get ready to head down to Crested Butte to visit another dear friend I wanted to take the time to wish all the BCHA Nicker followers and members a wonderful holiday, no matter wish you choose to celebrate.

I would also like to thank all those BCHA members, old and new, who attend our events, come out in support of horses (a special thank you for all those who wrote letters and spoke at the meeting this past December concerning Joder Arabian Ranch), and horse people in Boulder County and beyond.

Coming up in 2015 will be our Annual Meeting, so stay tuned for more on that. We hope you can come out and socialize, along with sharing with us your thoughts about BCHA and what you would like to see in 2015. We welcome you to stop by any first Monday at one of our Board meetings to see if you might be interested in joining the BCHA Board of Directors. Your help is essential in keeping us alive and active in the community.

Consider donating some of your time on 2015 with us, and helping us organize an event, or volunteer at one! We are always looking for interesting presenters and speakers who might have something to share with other members. So, if  you have someone in mind please get in touch.

Chrome, Russell and Ann Hayes—welcome Chrome!

Chrome, Russell and Ann Hayes—welcome Chrome!

I am especially happy for my dear friends Ann and Russell Hayes who found a new friend this year. We welcome Chrome to Boulder and I hope to see him trotting out with Russell on board soon!

Have a Happy One!
